Requirements for Obtaining an Animal Health Certificate
Before applying for an AHC for your dog or cat, please ensure the following:
- Your pet must be microchipped.
- A rabies vaccination is required (note: your pet must be at least 12 weeks old to receive this vaccination).
- After receiving the primary vaccinations, you must wait 21 days before your AHC can be issued and before you travel, so please plan accordingly for your travel and AHC appointment.
