Our expert vet team
Robert Servanski, MRCVS
Hello, my name is Robert, but many people call me Bob or Michael McIntyre 2!
I graduated as a veterinarian from Kaunas University of Life Sciences in Lithuania in 2014. My veterinary career began with mixed and small animal practice in Poland.
In the UK, I have focused exclusively on small animals. I settled in Whittlesey in 2016 and worked for three wonderful years at Best Friends in Yaxley. I loved working in that small village where everyone knew each other, which led to longer chats with clients.
At the beginning of 2019, I joined Sutterton Veterinary Hospital. This experience shaped me into a team player in a larger practice. I particularly enjoy emergency care, endoscopy, and internal medicine. We handled a variety of pets and their unique needs, which made it a great place to work. Sadly, COVID-19 changed our world significantly, and my next step was Medivet Birstall (now Thurmaston), where I worked solely as a hospital vet, managing emergencies and most investigations.
In 2023, my family grew with the arrival of my daughter, prompting me to step back from the fast-paced work environment. I worked closely with Medivet Whittlesey for a while, but it became clear that I was ready to establish my veterinary practice. I aim to do what I enjoy most: teaching, performing at my best, and finding quicker solutions to problems. I want to fix what is broken in my work and help others get to the root of their issues.
I love what I do, and I do what I love.
While I enjoy a variety of tasks, I have a special affinity for elderly cats, especially the grumpy ones! I am also interested in pain management and oncology.
I am pursuing further training in the Certificate in Surgery (CertAVP). Additionally, I love working with smaller furry friends, particularly rabbits and rats, but I am interested in other exotic pets.
